We can easy way to less contribute to microplastics. For example, reducing acrylic clothes, using a filter, washing a full load, and washing our clothes less.
So we should choose how to clean our clothes and choose clothes that functional.
Except for microplastics, the ocean has a lot of issues. Ghost nets are one of the problems.
Ghost nets(gear) are fishing nets that have been abandoned, lost or discarded, at sea, on beaches or in harbours.
Each year, ghost gear is responsible for trapping and killing a significant number of marine animals. They can cause further destruction by smothering coral reefs, devastating shorelines, and damaging boats.
The nets are looks similar to knits, I would like to express ghostnets with knits.
Also, knits are made with a piece of yarn.
So that, not make wastes, can unravel to return to one of yarn, really rational way for making clothes.
Therefore, I decide on this theme. I want to everyone know the humans cause problems in the ocean.
That is a very close problem to us.
